Warmer Weather Brings Avalanche Danger in Gallatin Range
Isolated avalanche dangers will be on the rise as the weather continues to warm up, especially on southern facing slopes. Rising temperatures also create conditions where large cornices will become loose and give way.
The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center headed out Wednesday to Beehive Basin to check out the conditions.
