Inches of Heavy, Wet Snow for Southeast Montana Thursday
Spring weather in Montana always keeps us on our toes. The southeast corner of the state is expecting a few inches of heavy, wet snow on Thursday. Wet and messy conditions are in store for travelers.
Folks who are traveling on Highway 212 towards Spearfish and Deadwood are the most likely to encounter this fresh snow today. Roadways may become very slushy, and the spray from large trucks could be dangerous.
Areas in Montana that may be affected: Ekalaka, Belltower, Broadus, Hammond, Albion, Capitol, Biddle, Alzada, and Ridge.
It's not a heavily populated part of the state, but it's terribly important for interstate travel between Montana, the Dakotas, and Wyoming.
