Far southern Park and Gallatin Counties could see up to THREE FEET of fresh snow by noon on Tuesday in the high elevations. Lower elevations, including Yellowstone National Park will probably receive many inches of heavy, wet snow as well.
Some counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory for snow with up to 4" possible in some higher elevations. The Bozeman area may experience a messy Friday morning commute.
Great news for their last weekend! A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until mid-day Friday for the Red Lodge area mountains and the Beartooth Foothills. Up to 7 fresh inches of snow is possible from this latest storm.
Snow is supposed to taper off by Tuesday afternoon but not before Mother Nature drops up to 5" of fresh snow in the Red Lodge area and the Beartooth Foothills.
Lots of snow is headed for our higher elevations this week. Very cold temperatures will affect just about all of Montana and Winter Storm Watches are in effect for several counties.
